Making conscious travel choices for generations to come. Let us help you to reduce your impact on the planet by planting trees to offset your travel.

For each new homeowner who uses the app, we can calculate their carbon emission that new housing schemes generate based on the impact of travel and ensure that developers plant trees within new developments to offset their travel impact. We are aiming to both encourage people to think more sustainably about their travel choices and at the same time encourage people and businesses to take responsibility for the carbon that is generated from travel.
We are contacting local councils, encouraging them to consider carbon offset tree planting schemes within new development sites as part of a planning application process. This is a completely new initiative, and we hope that each time you visit our website you will see a new case study showing a new development with a specific area dedicated to tree planting to offset the travel activities of new home owners.
If you are not a homebuyer within one of our partners development sites we will still plant trees for you. Our goal is to start our own tree planting schemes and to create our own woodlands. Once we have 50,000 registered users we will start planting trees whether that is within one of our partners developments, our own woodland projects or by buying trees from other providers, we will start planting. We hope soon, Trip Analysis UK can itself buy areas of land so that we can plant trees on behalf of everyone that uses our app. So don’t delay. Download the app today and take part in our future vision to mitigate the carbon you generate by travelling around.
The global transport sector is a major polluter, and was responsible for approximately 7.3 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions in 2020. Passenger cars were the biggest contributors that year, having produced roughly 41 percent of all transport CO2 emissions.
CO2 is the largest component of aircraft emissions, accounting for approximately 70 percent of the exhaust. If the entire aviation sector were a country, it would be one of the top 10 carbon-polluting nations on the planet.
The energy supply sector (electricity, heat, and other energy) is the largest contributor to global greenhouse gas emissions, responsible for approx. 35% of total emissions.
Greenhouse gas emissions from the transport sector have more than doubled since 1970, with around 80% of this increase coming from road vehicles.
The average net absorption per tree is about 30 kg of CO2 per year, so it will take 22 trees to compensate for the emissions of one year's commute of 20 km per day. That means that if you planted 22 trees, the CO2 absorption every year would offset your 5000 km of commuting every year.
Those who switch just one trip per day from car driving to cycling reduce their carbon footprint by about 0.5 tonnes over a year, representing a substantial share of average per capita CO2 emissions.

The department for transport published that transport produced 27% of the UK’s total emissions in 2019 of which 91% came from road transport vehicles with the biggest contributors coming from cars and taxis.
Trip Analysis has designed an app to silently calculate your carbon emissions based on the journeys you make and the modes of transport you choose to make those journeys. We hope that Trip Analysis will assist in reminding you of your travel choices and promoting you to consider alternative modes of transport when you possibly can.
The app will remind you at the end of each journey the amount of carbon you have used or saved depending on the mode of transport you used. There is of course no obligation for you to change your travel habits or look to consider ways to mitigate your carbon footprint. We just hope that the app and its reminders will make you consider your travel choices and the impact you are having towards carbon emissions and whilst you are a user of the app we commit to planting trees for you personally to try and balance your carbon footprint.
The support provided by our partners and sponsors make it possible for us to bring you Trip Analysis. They drive our mission and values at a time where focus on the environment is vital and necessary.

This new app is attracting interest from those conscious of their carbon footprints and want to do something to offset.
Really cool app. This is exactly the thing that will make it easy for us to offset our carbon with little effort. And will encourage us to exercise a little more.
